| September 5, 2024 12:00 AM

Bob Hunt, 63, went to be with the Lord on July 6, 2024, with loved ones by his side. He was born to Lela Mae and Leon Ray Hunt on Jan. 1, 1961.

Bob moved to Alaska in 1980 where he met Karen Contreras, who had two children from a previous marriage. Bob and Karen were married in 1981. In 1989 they welcomed a baby girl, the last baby to complete the family!

During the time he lived in Alaska Bob was a dispatcher and a cab driver. He also had a huge love of fishing and looking at all the wildlife Alaska had. He was a huge fan of sports he loved watching the Mariners play! He went crazy when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series!

Bob Moved to Montana in 2008 where he lived with his daughter and grandsons. He turned his life over to Our Heavenly Father in 2015. He was a devoted follower to Jesus Christ. He helped on the bus route and any place he could for the church.

He leaves behind two daughters, Amanda Contreras of Kalispell, and Laura Hunt of Anchorage Alaska; one son, Ben Contreras of California; five grandsons, Joseph Bukowski, Declan Finch, Keegan Finch, Dallin Finch and Silas Hunt, one granddaughter, Lorelai, both from Anchorage Alaska; and one great-grandson, Luka Winters.

Bob will be missed by many.

A service will begin at 11 a.m. on Sept. 7, at the Rocky Mountain Baptist Church, 2387 Hwy 35, Kalispell. Come share your story and hear more of his testimony.
