Pack, Bravettes sweep league matches Friday

Both the Flathead Bravettes and Glacier Wolfpack won their home volleyball matches in straight sets Friday, staring off their Western AA slates 1-0.

Flathead beat Helena High 25-17, 25-17, 25-20; Glacier thumped Helena Capital 25-17, 25-12, 25-11. 

Flathead def. Helena 3-0 

Emma Eve had 11 kills and two blocks to lead the Bravettes, who also got 27 assists and three aces for Anna Baine, six kills from Addison Thornsberry and four aces fro Zeliah Boles. 

Katie Manning led the way with 14 digs, and Kendall Kratofil added eight. 

Glacier def. Capital 3-0 

Sydnie Ryan’s 12 kills led the Pack, while Stella Bayard had 22 assists and Kenedee Moore had 19 digs. 

Cassidy Daniels had three of Glacier’s six aces.
