Law roundup: Why did the chicken not cross the road?

Someone calling from Crescent Drive called Columbia Falls Police Department reportedly concerned about the welfare of 10 chickens on the loose in the road and in people’s yards. Officers didn’t see any chickens, but they did see turkeys not far from the area described by the caller.

Four youths allegedly taunted a man who asked them to get off his property instead of leaving.

A man allegedly tried to exchange a large stack of Canadian bills at a bank where someone called the police from Ninth Street, saying they heard a large amount of Canadian money was stolen from a vehicle the previous week.
