Whitefish soccer sweeps T-Falls
THOMPSON FALLS — Delaney Smith scored five goals, four in the second half as Whitefish pulled away from a halftime tie to beat Thompson Falls 9-3 in North A girls soccer Saturday.
The Whitefish boys completed a Bulldog sweep with a 7-1 win.
Katherin Wrobleski staked the Blue Hawks to a 2-0 lead in the first half, before Whitefish rallied behind goals from Madi Gordon (Sadie Olson on the assist) and Smith.
Gordon, Olson and Truth Baxter also scored in a second half that was all-Whitefish. Olson had three assists; Smith, Gordon and Mahalia Horton had one each.
Wrobleski scored in the second half to complete a hat trick for Thompson Falls.

BIGFORK — Brynn Bagley scored four goals and an assist Thursday as the Bigfork Valkyries beat Thompson Falls in girls soccer.
Paeten Gunlock had two goals and three assists for the Vals; her sister Braeden Gunlock had two goals and two assisats. Ione Plummer had a goal and an assist, and Ceily Jensen made three saves in goal.
