Ashley Joanne Ferguson-Jones, 29

| September 29, 2024 12:00 AM

Ashley Joanne Ferguson-Jones, 29, passed away Sept. 19, 2024. She was born June 22, 1995, in Great Falls to Craig Jones and Alecia (Ferguson) Leonetti.

Ashley and her twin sister made their entrance into the world two months early and despite weighing just 3 pounds, Ashley came into life as a fighter. She was quick-witted, sharp, and excelled at everything she put her mind to. Her friends often said she was "the smartest one in the room." Fiercely protective of those she loved, Ashley had a bold, outgoing personality that left a lasting impression. Music was her refuge — her healing force — and she felt most at peace when immersed in it. Known for her sense of humor and expressive reactions, Ashley had a gift for making those around her laugh.

She is survived by her loving parents, Craig Jones and Alecia Leonetti (Ferguson), and her three beautiful daughters, Freya, Hadley, and Kora Krohn. She is also survived by her twin sister, Abigail Ferguson-Jones, and her brother, Tanner Leonetti; her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Rhonda Ferguson; her aunts, Kaycee (Jason) Zielanski, Amanda Broulette, and Candy Jones; as well as her uncle, Lance (Brenna) Ferguson. Additionally, she is survived by her stepdad, Jason Leonetti, and her close friend and mother-in-law, Erika Delaney, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Sherry Jones.

A celebration of Ashley's life will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 Fourth Ave. W., Columbia Falls. Family and friends may begin to visit on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. To send online condolences, please visit www.columbiamortuary.com.
