Law roundup: Person clawed by kitten scam
A person smitten with a kitten was allegedly scammed out of $435 trying to purchase it online.
A shirtless, barefoot man reportedly sat in the middle of the road, yelling at “anyone and everyone.” He eventually got up and started throwing stuff around while screaming, leaving his bicycle, coat and phone in the road.
A man alleged that his wife’s friend pointed a .22 handgun at his head. Describing herself as scrappy, she denied pointing a gun and instead said she would fight him, using less polite terms, when he refused to leave the location after being verbally abusive.
A male, who looked to be in his late teens, was reportedly caught with his pants down, his "personal area” exposed to traffic.
Officers received yet another complaint about someone drilling into a vehicle’s fuel tank.
Employees reportedly asked for officer assistance in moving along a man who was violently screaming at a woman to stop crying. They told officers they would move along after handling their vehicle’s mechanical issues.
Someone complained about not being able to park in handicapped spaces at the hospital, claiming they were taken by vehicles without the proper placards. They wanted officers to ticket them all. Officers looked at the problem area and saw the vehicles in question had the proper tags displayed.
A man reportedly approached a woman’s vehicle, yelled at her and kicked her car as she shut the door and rolled up her window. He rode away on a bicycle. He told officers he yelled but never kicked the car and complained that everyone was harassing him. Officers told him to stop yelling at people.
Someone was suspicious that an agitated man stole the child’s blue bicycle he was sitting on.
