Law roundup: Trouble bruin in Somers home
Hearing a slamming noise and voices coming from the downstairs about 2 a.m., a woman staying at a relative's home in Somers armed herself with a knife and phoned the Flathead County Sheriff's Office. While waiting for deputies to show up, the woman listened and barred her door as someone — or something — thudded around in the building's lower levels. A moment later she told dispatchers that she had put down the knife. The intruder turned out to be a bear, and it had run off.
