Eureka softball picks up win Saturday

DEER LODGE — Walks and passed balls put Eureka ahead, and Lily McAfee’s two run double and Tessa Sieler’s RBI single capped a six-run fourth inning as the Lions beat Deer Lodge 12-8 in softball Saturday.

Sieler and Maddie Chase each drove in two runs as the Lions picked up their first win against five losses. Arbor Traina, Chase and Leaj Tkachyk each scored twice; Chase and Aubree Richardson each hit doubles. Chase also fanned three Wardens.
