Law roundup: Sporting goods customer spoiling for a fight
An argument between an employee in a store's sporting goods area and a potential customer nearly ended up in fisticuffs. The employee later told the Kalispell Police Department that the man, accompanied by an 8-year-old boy, challenged him to meet him outside. The man apparently lingered in the parking area near the section of the store with groceries but later departed.
Officers stopped a pedestrian and took him to the county jail after determining he was wanted on a felony charge.
Witnessing the driver of a maroon Toyota Prius strike a parked black Prius and then drive off, an onlooker alerted the police to the apparent hit-and-run. Officers were unable to locate the black Prius.
Officers issued a BOLO after a patient apparently vaulted over the back fence of a facility and took off.
