Law roundup: Reckless drivers are off to the races
Teens riding dirt bikes allegedly got into an altercation with the occupants of a blue sedan at the intersection of Old Reserve Drive. The person who called the police reportedly thought the teens had almost crashed into the sedan when a man in his 20s got out of the passenger side and pulled out a revolver and allegedly pointed it at the teens and yelled at them.
The woman driving the sedan allegedly got out and yelled at the caller, who said they left when the man aimed the gun at them. The caller said they had taken a video of the teens before the altercation.
Three people, about 22 years old, were allegedly racing around a parking lot on motorbikes with the headlights turned off.
The drivers of three vehicles reportedly traveling up and down a hill were “getting rambunctious,” according to a caller.
Two trucks and two sports cars were allegedly racing on U.S. 93 and someone told officers the vehicles were going at least 120 mph.
A store employee reportedly picked up a backpack that a woman had set down and found stolen alcohol inside.
Officers responded to a report of a pickup on fire, which reportedly ignited a stubble field.
A property owner reportedly relayed information from a neighbor that a man they described as a “volatile person” had been “hanging around” all week. The property owner wanted the man and other “homeless people” found at the location, moved along.

Two youths wearing backpacks reportedly stole a few boxes of ammo.
