Grant Taylor threw eight shutout innings and the Glacier Range Riders defeated the Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers 6-0 Thursday at Glacier Bank Park.

Taylor fanned four batters and allowed six hits to move to 6-6 on the season. The win moves Glacier back above .500 in the second half at 17-16.

The second inning is where most of the offensive damage came from Glacier as two singles and a walk loaded the bases for Donovan Ratfield to drive in two runs with a double. Next batter, Kyle Ashworth plated two more with a single to give the Range Riders a 4-0 lead.

John Mabry made it 5-0 in the fifth with a single that brought Ashworth home.

Lynch capped off the scoring with an RBI single in the seventh that scored TJ Clarkson.

Yuba-Sutter (13-20) had six different batters pick up hits in the game.

Davis Pratt closed out the ninth inning for the Range Riders with a perfect inning.
