Law roundup: Life is not a bed of roses for sleeping man
A man wearing a gray shirt but no pants was reportedly found sleeping in a rose garden. Kalispell Police Department officers issued a ticket for disorderly conduct.
A man wearing a tan Army-style backpack and red shirt reportedly stole three handfuls of jerky sticks and ducked behind a car.
A woman’s coworker and a customer were reportedly “joking around” when the customer put his hands on her neck, telling her “she had a lovely neck to wring.”
Four cats wearing collars allegedly jumped out of a Dodge Ram van with no license plates in a parking lot and someone called officers, concerned the vehicle was not registered/had no plates.
Roughly a dozen trucks were reportedly using a business’s parking lot as a racetrack and the drivers were yelling “obscene things” at customers.
A business owner and real estate agent reportedly called the police, alleging a man renting an e-bike “gave her a weird vibe,” so they ran his information through her real estate software and a report said “the report” stated he was a fugitive.
A thrift store employee reportedly found multiple needles on the porch and wasn’t comfortable collecting them. An employee called officers back, saying they would dispose of the needles.
A man allegedly “preaching the word of Christ” in the back corner of a parking lot said another man who disagreed with him threatened to kill him. He then rambled to the dispatcher about government conspiracies and went on a racist tirade.
A property manager reportedly received complaints about a woman yelling profanities in the hallway. She agreed to stop yelling and stay in her room.
A resident called complaining about a neighbor walking her dog off-leash and not picking up its feces.
A woman was reportedly “freaking out,” screaming and yelling in a bathroom where someone said they saw blood that might be from her. She was OK, just arguing over the phone.
A man allegedly threw garbage out of a silver truck in a bank parking lot. Officers didn’t see trash around a silver truck and were unable to locate any trash.
A man allegedly lost his wallet and someone attempted to charge $300 on it.
An abandoned vehicle on blocks was reportedly leaking fluids on the road.
