Frontier: Huot, Saints beat Lights 20-0

HAVRE — Former Montana Grizzlies Kaden Huot threw for one touchdown and ran for another, leading the Carroll College Saints over MSU-Northern 20-0 Saturday.

Huot’s 1-yard touchdown run put the Saints up 10-0 late in the first quarter At 3:41 of the fourth quarter the junior out of Helena hit Ty Wilkinson with a 26-yard scoring strike to cap the scoring.

Huot was 21 of 33 for 256 yards, with one interception. He ran 16 times for 35 yards.

Carson Ochoe caught a game-high seven passes for 85 yards. Connor Sullivan out of Glacier High had three catches for 25 yards for the Saints.

Northern quarterbacks Ashton Platt and Kendall O’Neill combined to comlete just 5 of 18 passes for 90 yards.
