A snowy hike to Glacier National Park's Mount Brown lookout
Last year around mid-November, we were stuck in the same scenario: almost no snow.
Hiker friend Stimson Dolesh and I decided to try our luck at reaching Mount Brown lookout. Although the Sperry Trail was entirely melted; we hit deep snow along with an earlier than projected winter storm that forced us to turn around. This year, we came back for redemption.
