Skiing the desolate slopes of Glacier National Park's Otokomi Lake
The first light of dawn danced across the broad peaks of the St. Mary’s Valley as a cloudless sky was pierced by an early morning chill – a chill that cut straight through the burly down jacket that attempted to shield me from winter's merciless grasp.
We eagerly awaited the morning alpenglow of orange and pink that moved like molasses, slowly working its way to the valley bottom where Ella Kuzyk, Adam Clark, Adam Cazell and I made our way toward a desolate Otokomi Lake.
