Someone whose credit card was reportedly stolen from their mailbox and used at a liquor store called the Kalispell Police Department wanting to know if they could get surveillance footage to catch the partying thief.

A man in a rusted blue truck allegedly followed a woman inside an apartment building. When she heard someone trying to enter a code on her front door and begin “aggressively” knocking. she peered out the peephole and saw the same man. When he was gone she went outside and saw the truck had left.

A manager asked officers to walk through the building because there were purportedly an unusual amount of “crackhead types” hanging around. Dispatch said a law enforcement response would be at officers’ discretion.

Two people leaving a casino allegedly stole an employee’s backpack on the way out.

A woman allegedly called the police yelling about someone who was “ugly and mean” and rambled on about barricading herself in her apartment because someone was trying to come in and scare her,  claiming they tried to open the door because she could feel the cold air come in. She also talked about people stealing her car and clothes and putting things in her food, repeating that she was scared when the call disconnected. Officers drove through the parking lot and everything appeared OK.

Officers located a stolen Kawasaki Mule.

An officer stickered four broken-down vehicles with notices to move within 72 hours after someone complained they hadn’t been moved for three years.
