Boys hoops: Hill, Sapa lead C-Falls over Bigfork

COLUMBIA FALLS — Jory Hill and Reggie Sapa scored 12 points apiece and Columbia Falls rallied past upset-minded Bigfork 52-46 in Northwest A boys basketball Saturday.

Grady Hutton and Bjorn Pederson added seven points  —  Hutton had all his points in the fourth quarter —  or the Wildcats (12-2 overall, 7-1 in Northwest A games), who outscored the Vikings 13-5 in the final frame.  

Hill hit two 3-pointers in the third quarter. Sapa had 10 rebounds. 

Austin Savik led Bigfork (4-9, 2-5) with 20 points — 17 coming in the first half — Alex Ochs tallied 12.

POLSON — Tristen Crawford and Shayde St. Goddard scored 12 points each and Browning outscored Polson 21-6 in the fourth quarter. 

Noah Butterfly added 10 to make it three Browning (8-3, 5-1) players in double figures. 

Malakai Curley led the Pirates (7-7, 4-4) with 25 points.

LIBBY — Tayen Edmo led a balanced Ronan squad with nine points as the Chiefs picked up a 57-28 Northwest A win at Libby. 

Chad Higgins added eight points for Ronan (10-5, 6-3), who saw 10 players score. The Chiefs led 27-14 at the half. 

Ryan Beagle led the Loggers (3-12, 0-9) with seven points.
