A construction crew said it found a hidden room in a building where it appeared someone had been living for quite some time. The general manager for the company that owned the building wanted Kalispell Police Department officers to check out the makeshift living quarters, which contained personal effects and had electricity.

A man who reportedly refused to leave a house where he had been drinking allegedly grabbed a knife and tried to stab someone.

A man allegedly went to a location where he used to live and tried to break the handle off a woman’s locked van. She thought he was trying to break into her van “for a penny.”

A physical disturbance was reported between a couple where one person allegedly pulled the hair of another during an argument. Both decided to separate for the night.

Someone submitted an online report about their tires allegedly being slashed and had information on a suspect. Officers attempted to call them twice, but their voicemail wasn’t set up. They also knocked on their door, but no one answered.

A welfare check was requested for a man reportedly found sleeping in a toilet stall who told someone to leave him alone.

Someone allegedly thought it was weird that a man was pacing and standing on a corner “for quite some time,” or about a couple of hours.

A welfare check was requested for a man who was reportedly panhandling under the bypass in a T-shirt in the cold weather. He told officers he would put on a coat if he got cold.
