Edmo, Chiefs outlast Bigfork in 2OT
BIGFORK — Ronan’s Tayen Edmo hit five 3-pointers, three coming after regulation, and scored 15 points in the Chiefs’ 51-45 win over Northwest A neighbor Bigfork in boys basketball Thursday.
Edmo accounted for all of Ronan’s three points in the first OT — Alex Ochs answered for Bigfork — and after Wade Qualtier put the Chiefs up for good in the second OT, he hit two more threes.
Kolby Finley added 13 points for Ronan (12-5 overall, 8-3 in Northwest A games), including a leaner that tied the game at 40-40 with 10 seconds left in regulation.
All of this offset a huge night by Bigfork’s Austin Savik, who hit four 3-pointers and scored 35 points, all of it in regulation. The Vikings fell to 5-12, 3-8.
