Law roundup: An allegedly hands-on woman barred from premises
A woman went to the Kalispell Police Department upset that she was kicked out of a location for allegedly “patting someone’s bottom” and wanted to press charges for “wrongful termination.” She became agitated and argumentative when staff tried to tell her that law enforcement couldn’t force the location to let her back inside.
A man allegedly went up to a woman in store, telling her she was beautiful, and that she “shouldn’t be by herself because it would be easy to kidnap her.” Disconcerted, she left the store in a rush, only to find a note with a phone number on her car. Dispatch advised her about stalking and temporary restraining orders if these incidents continued. She was also told to call the police again if she saw any suspicious activity.
A woman reportedly woke up to find all the tires on her vehicle slashed and threatening text messages from a man.
A man in his 60s driving a Toyota Highlander on U.S. 2 was spotted speeding, swerving and tailgating vehicles. He then allegedly ran a red light, drove on the sidewalk, and hit a stop sign and a yield sign in a roundabout before striking another vehicle. Medical personnel were requested for a possible diabetic issue. No injuries were reported.
