A raccoon allegedly roaming the city streets in the daylight was cause enough for someone to call the Kalispell Police Department out of concern the nocturnal mammal was sick and could bite someone. Despite that worry, they approached the raccoon, which fled up a tree and hung out. Officers were unable to locate the raccoon.

An unruly guest reportedly screamed and threatened to hit someone with a cane.

A woman allegedly tried the doors of someone’s house and RV. The owner told officers it was an ongoing issue, that he knew her from a yard sale last summer and wanted her cited for trespassing.

An employee threw away an empty black pill bottle found among flowers in a bathroom.

A woman called the police when she allegedly heard a neighbor yelling at his dog to go inside, and if it didn’t, he was going to kill someone.

Fuel allegedly sprayed from a busted hose while a man was filling up a gas can and he couldn’t get it to stop. About 10 gallons had spilled by the time the police were called. It was unknown if a visible puncture was due to a hose malfunction or a knife.

Someone saw a truck hit a parked car. The driver allegedly told them the sun was in his eyes when the truck veered into the vehicle.

A woman reportedly listed the wrong apartment number when ordering a speaker and residents at the address hadn’t responded to a letter she wrote asking for the package.

An electric scooter was reported stolen during a baseball tournament.

A passerby told officers a man was bitten on his arms while separating two fighting dogs.

A resident in the midst of moving noticed her 75-inch TV and Galaxy watch were missing and reported the items as stolen.
