Andrew Jackson Miller III

Sept. 29, 1937-June 27, 2025

Andrew "Andy" Miller III, 87, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Anne, and their children, Andy Miller IV, Nicole (Robert) Maloney, and Treg (Natalie) Miller, along with five grandchildren, Keller, Pierce, and Cleo Maloney and Savannah and Sadie Miller. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa (Erick) Steinberg.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Ohio, Andy was the eldest of four children. He attended Ohio State University, where he played football under Coach Woody Hayes. After college, he began a career in marketing and business development with General Motors and continued work with numerous corporations throughout his life. Andy’s work eventually led the family to move to southern California.

Andy was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to his family. He served his community through various boards and ministries, and his generosity and encouragement left a lasting impact on those who knew him. In later years, he and Anne found joy in the mountains of Montana, where they built a home and became residents in 2004. They have been active members of the Bigfork community and Crossroads Church.

Andy will be remembered for his integrity, warmth, and love for his family. As he always said, "I’m up for the fight."

A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church in Bigfork at 1 p.m. on July 8.
