Taylor earns Pioneer League pitcher of the week honors

Glacier Range Riders pitcher Grant Taylor earned Pioneer League pitcher of the week honors the league announced Tuesday.

The Glacier started threw the first complete game in franchise history Sunday, a 4-2 victory over Great Falls.

Taylor also threw 5 2-3 innings in the series opener between the Range Riders and Voyagers.

For the week, Taylor threw 14 2-3 innings and struck out fifteen batters with a 1.23 ERA.

Taylor sits second in the league with 44 strikeouts on the season, only teammate Ty Bothwell has more with 51. Luke Schafer sits at 42, making it three Range Riders in the top four.

Oakland Ballers catcher Dillon Tatum claimed the hitter of the week award.

Tatum hit .550 for the week with six home runs and 21 RBIs.
