Firm purchases The Meridian Apartments
A Denver-based multifamily investment firm has acquired The Meridian Apartments in Kalispell.
This marks Brinkman Real Estate’s fourth purchase in the state. The company also owns The Highline Apartments in Columbia Falls.
The Meridian Apartments include 180 units located on the west side of Kalispell.
The company’s capital markets team, in partnership with Greystone’s debt team led by Tim Wright, executed a Fannie Mae loan assumption and simultaneously closed on a supplemental loan, according to a release.
“Our success at The Highline gave us firsthand insight into the strength of this region,” said Larry Braud, vice president of investments at Brinkman Real Estate. “With continued job growth, record-low unemployment, a business-friendly environment, and limited new supply, Kalispell has all the fundamentals we look for in a market.”
Built in 2023, The Meridian includes a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Community amenities include a basketball court, outdoor grill and picnic area, dog park, and on-site leasing and maintenance.
Brinkman says it plans to enhance the resident experience through targeted improvements such as in-unit laundry additions, fencing for first-floor studios, and upgrades to the dog park and shared outdoor areas. Operational efficiencies will also be realized by leveraging its existing relationship with Entrust Property Solutions, which also manages The Highline.
