Immanuel Living breaks ground on newest expansion
Immanuel Living has broken ground on The Lofts at Buffalo Hill, a 39-residence expansion of its senior living campus in Kalispell.
The sold-out independent living project drew a crowd of future residents, staff, board members, and community partners during a ceremonial event held on the north lawn of the Immanuel Living campus.
Guests were welcomed with remarks from President & CEO Jason Cronk, director of sales and marketing Ashley Strods, and Board Chair John Erfle before participating in the ceremonial shovel-turning.
“This project is not only a physical expansion of our community — it’s a celebration of the vision, trust, and connection we share with each and every one of you,” said Strods. “The enthusiasm surrounding The Lofts speaks volumes about the value Immanuel Living brings to Kalispell and the lives of older adults who call this valley home.”
President and CEO Jason Cronk said the start of construction is exciting and the project is especially meaningful when it’s a direct response to the needs of a community.
“What we’re building here isn’t just bricks and mortar — it’s connection, security, opportunity, and a sense of belonging,” Cronk. “The Lofts began as an idea in the spring of 2021.”
“Now, four years later, our dream has become reality — and all 39 homes are reserved before construction has even begun,” Cronk added. “As demand continues to rise, we’ve found ourselves in a position where we simply can’t build fast enough to match the interest. That’s a great challenge to have, and one we embrace with thoughtful planning and passion.”
At its busiest, the project is expected to employ more than 40 workers from Swank Enterprises.
The Lofts at Buffalo Hill are expected to be completed in 2027.
