The owner of a blue and silver van was allegedly back at a building, according to a caller who told the Kalispell Police Department they had reported the van once before and wanted the occupants ticketed for trespassing. Officers kicked a man off the property who identified himself as a “sovereign citizen."

A man riding an enduro-style motorcycle reportedly thought it was OK to ride with a child, around 5 years old, seated in the back and not wearing a helmet. When someone confronted him about it, he drove away. They followed him briefly but were unable to get a license plate. Officers drove around the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

An argument about a TV remote between two roommates got so heated that one of the men reportedly told the other he was going to kill him. The one man said the other couldn't act on the threat, but someone said anytime there was a threat, residents needed to call the police.

Hypodermic needles were reportedly found in a backpack left on a front porch, and an officer was requested to pick it up.

A security camera purportedly “caught” a man holding a rifle at a location where extra patrols were requested. The rifleman was gone by the time officers arrived at the scene.

A red truck, usually in a parking lot, was parked on a front lawn, which made someone “very suspicious,” and they called the police.

A small dog was allegedly getting loose regularly and would trot over to a neighbor’s yard, barking at three larger dogs through the fence. The owner of the trio was concerned the little dog’s bravado would lead to it being nipped, but hadn’t talked to the neighbor and didn’t want the police to respond, “possibly making the issue a bigger deal.” She was advised it would be documented that the small dog was the trespasser.

A truck that allegedly parked near an intersection after being tagged with a notice to move sat there long enough for a neighbor to complain. Officers stuck another notice to move the vehicle within 72 hours.

An almond-colored Cadillac reportedly hit a street sign, knocking it over.

A man reportedly heard yelling in an alley was OK, just arguing with someone on the phone.

A small white truck allegedly kept speeding through a neighborhood doing burnouts.

A Cadillac SUV full of teenagers allegedly almost struck someone’s vehicle in a gas station parking lot. Officers spoke with the registered owner who said her son had the vehicle and would call him to discuss the alleged reckless driving.

Officers checked on a vehicle that was reportedly parked in the middle of the road. After moving the vehicle, officers determined it was unsafe for the motorist to be driving on his own as he was reportedly showing signs of dementia. Officers took his driver’s license to submit for a re-test and had him transported to the hospital after calling his emergency contact multiple times.
