After pulling over a driver on First Avenue in the morning hours, officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department reminded him to call his mother. He replied that he had talked to her the night before. Officers later issued him a warning in connection with the traffic stop.

Getting a call to the emergency line that consisted of rustling noises on the other end of the line, dispatchers phoned back to make sure everything was fine. It was all OK and the initial call had been accidentally placed by children playing with a phone.

Officers pulled over a motorist on Ninth Street and cited him. Another motorist received a citation during a traffic stop on Nucleus Avenue.

Struggling to get a former employee to turn in their keys, a boss turned to the police for help. Officers answered his questions regarding the situation.

Officers headed to a Ninth Street coffee shop after an alarm at the kitchen door went off. They secured the building.

Authorities mounted extra patrols on Martha Road and then later at the skate park.

Officers checked in on a vehicle but found it unoccupied.
