Youth get chance to learn entrepreneurship through Lemonade Day
Youth in Flathead County have the chance to learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce’s Lemonade Day event.
Registration is open for the sixth annual Lemonade Day Flathead that takes place on Saturday, June 21. Youth in kindergarten through eighth grade can learn about business by launching a lemonade stand.
Participants will engage in a structured curriculum covering essential business concepts such as budgeting, marketing, product development, and customer service.
Educational materials are accessible through a physical workbook or the MyLemonadeDay app. Additionally, in-person learning sessions will be available in June.
On Lemonade Day, young entrepreneurs will apply their knowledge by operating their lemonade stands throughout the community. Optional contests, including Best Tasting Lemonade, Logo Contest, Imagine My Stand Contest, Most Creative Ingredient, and Best Stand, will provide participants with opportunities for recognition.
Stands will operate at various locations throughout the county from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 21.
The program is free. To register, visit lemonadeday.org/flathead.
