Event looks at health care outreach in Kenya

A presentation on June 8 in Kalispell will discuss the Rotary Club’s outreach programs in Kenya.  

Led by Sarah Rolfing and Lucy Smith the event will discuss a program dedicated to reproductive health education for Kenyan women and teen girls and the establishment of a Rotary Medical Clinic aimed at providing lifesaving care for thousands. It takes place from 4-6 p.m. at the Wachholz College Center on the Flathead Valley Community College campus. 

Guests will enjoy African drumming, a Maasai gift market, Kenyan coffee and sweets from the House of S&M, and a cash bar. 

The event is free, with all proceeds from the Maasai gift market and donations directly supporting the initiative to "Power the Clinic" and bring healthcare where it is needed most.
