Atmospheric wildlife paintings featured at Cawdrey Gallery

| June 5, 2025 1:00 AM

Wildlife artist Kallie Audet will unveil her latest collection of paintings at Cawdrey Gallery in Whitefish this month. The exhibition opens Thursday, June 5, with a reception from 5-8 p.m., and will stay open through June 30.

Audet, based in Red Lodge, is known for her atmospheric approach to wildlife portraiture featuring ravens, wolves, foxes, owls and other Rocky Mountain wildlife. Her work explores the connection between humans and animals through evocative, emotionally charged paintings that blend realism with expressive techniques. Audet’s style employs rich color palettes and dynamic brushwork to create atmospheric portraits that capture both the physical form and spiritual essence of her subject.

The collection showcases approximately eight new works. Audet joined the Cawdrey Gallery in 2023 and this is her third solo show.
