‘Whitefish Review’ hosts bestselling author Laura Munson for a reading and conversation about wonder

Whitefish-based bestselling author, Laura Munson, will be at Second Story in Whitefish on June 2 for a reading and conversation about her new book, “The Wild Why,” a guide to creativity, self-expression, and kindness centered on wonder. 

Munson is the “New York Times,” and “USA Today" bestselling author of the novel “Willa’s Grove” and memoir “This Is Not The Story You Think It Is.” Founder of the acclaimed Haven Writing Retreats, her work has also been featured or published in several magazines, including “Vanity Fair,” “Time,” and “Newsweek.” She has also appeared on “Good Morning America,” “The Early Show,” and “NPR.” She lives in Whitefish. 

“I think we can all use a dose of wonder and I anticipate an energetic evening as we celebrate together,” said Brian Schott, “Whitefish Review” founding editor. 

Second Story is located at 101 Central in downtown Whitefish. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Live music by Little Knotty starts at 7:30 p.m. with an ariel silks performance by Anna Faith of Aerial Wonder. The book reading and conversation starts at 8 p.m. Signed copies of “The Wild Why” will be available for purchase. 

A $10 suggested donation is requested to support the “Whitefish Review,” a nonprofit art and literary journal that has published more than 1,000 authors and artists since its inception in 2007.
