High Wheelers KO Riders Tuesday
MARYSVILLE, Calif. — The Glacier Range Riders made a sterling comeback Tuesday night, only to drop another Pioneer League game via the Knockout Round, 7-6 to the Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers.\
Cuba Bess, who hit an RBI double in a three-run first inning and added an RBI single in the fourth, belted one home run in the KO Round. Kingston Liniak, who homered in the seventh inning, hit for Glacier but got zero. The Range Riders (8-11) took their seventh loss in eight games in June, two of them via knockout.
