Movie Night at the Museum will screen ‘Diner’
“Diner,” starring Steve Guttenberg, Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon, Daniel Stern, Tim Daly and Paul Reiser will be shown at Movie Night at the Museum June 24.
Written and directed by Barry Levinson, this 1982 movie centers around a group of friends reuniting at Baltimore’s Fells Point Diner, which serves as a 1950s Americana backdrop for the young men, who are facing pivotal points in their lives.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at Northwest Montana History Museum, 124 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. Jacob Thomas, Movie Night at the Museum educator and a former museum director, will provide introductory remarks before the film starts at 7 p.m. in the Swanberg Classroom.
Admission and popcorn are free. Soda, water, beer and wine are available for purchase. Seating is provided, but viewers are welcome to bring their own cushions or seating.
