Casserilla homers twice in Range Riders win
Xavier Casserilla hit two solo home runs, Logan Beard had a big two-run double and the Glacier Range Riders snapped a four-game losing skid with an 8-5 win over the Great Falls Voyagers Wednesday.
Kyle Ashwork had two hits and three runs batted in as the Range Riders (12-20) built a 7-1 lead and held on at Glacier Bank Park. Casserilla’s first homer sparked a four-run second inning for the Range Riders. Ashworth added a two-run single in the frame, and Gabe Howell drove in the fourth run with a groundout.
