A cranky 70- to 80-year-old reportedly yelled at coaches during a tournament at a gym, saying he was former law enforcement. The director of the event called the police asking an officer to remove him. When the man left with a woman, the director still expressed concerns he would return and cause issues.

A woman allegedly thought it was OK to enter a neighbor’s vehicle during the night and honk the horn repeatedly until they woke up because they parked in her parking spot. The neighbors wanted officers to counsel her rather than press charges at the time. Officers told her it was illegal to enter someone else’s vehicle without their consent and could face criminal charges if they later chose to pursue them.

A woman was upset that individuals were selling puppies from a pickup in a parking lot and wanted police to ticket or arrest the person for operating a business without a license. She was advised that her complaint was a civil court issue and informed of what would constitute a criminal issue.

Someone recycling cardboard reportedly saw a man standing by the containers grab a rock and was concerned he was waiting to hit someone who wasn't paying attention to their surroundings and thought he should be moved along. A machete was also spotted lodged in a tree.

A parent was concerned that her teenage daughter reportedly kept seeing a “sketchy man” around the neighborhood but didn’t know if he lived there and said he hadn’t done anything illegal, but he did say, “Hi,” to her which bothered her.

An elderly woman reportedly called a pastor with a radio station saying she was confused and couldn’t find a doctor’s office. The pastor called an officer asking them to check on her welfare. She told the officer she was OK and wanted directions to an eye clinic, which she could find on her own but would call if she needed assistance.

Extra patrol was requested on the bypass when someone complained multiple cars were driving recklessly, speeding around 70 mph, including a man, who was reportedly driving “extremely aggressive.”
