Self-censorship

One notable example of self-censorship comes from the business roundtable meeting of 150-200 CEOs with President Donald Trump.

It has been widely reported on the condition of anonymity, that privately, almost all of the CEOs are “very concerned” about our economic future and the possibility of a recession.

An anonymous poll taken stated that 85% of those CEOs thought the Biden presidency left us with a strong economy, (not perfect) and they are scared that Trump’s policies were leading us to a recession.

Many off the record statements by these CEOs stated that they were not saying their opinions out loud, for fear of retaliation.

People and politicians self-censoring because of intimidation caused by the fear of punishment and revenge from the ruler is a sign of a coming fascist dictatorship.

Another sign of creeping authoritarian propaganda is that the goal posts continually change.

We’ve gone from; “inflation and groceries will go down on day one of me being in office”, to; “We are in a transition from Biden’s terrible economy, and Americans will have to sacrifice for the long-term goal, and then America will be great again.”

Guess who won’t suffer over the next year? Tax breaks for billionaires will add $4 trillion to our national debt. These are the same billionaires that have already added millions to their wealth since the pandemic.

I feel my beloved country slipping toward an authoritarian government aligned with billionaires-similar to Russia.

The House’s version of the continuing budget resolution further transfers the House’s “power of the purse” to Trump and Elon Musk, increasing the power of their illegal wrecking balls even further. (Includes economic forces toward cutting social programs cuts as well.)

Write your congressman and tell them you see through their scam, and to do their jobs.

Message to Democrats

The Democrat Party in this country has allowed itself to be hijacked by those in their party untethered from all reality.

It is one thing to hold philosophical differences with one another but what we have witnessed since the election is pathological. The new administration is trying to right the ship of state. Criminal government waste, fraud and abuse have run rampant. We now have folks working on cleaning out this festering mess, a.k.a. Elon Musk.

And how do hysterical deep state bureaucrats and their acolytes act? They fire bomb Tesla dealerships, accost Tesla drivers and destroy electric car charging stations. Musk was your darling as were many of the wealthy tech titans, now derided as “oligarchs” by Marxist Bernie Sanders and his ilk, before they decided to try and work with the new administration.

Do I think they do so because they have suddenly had a change of heart toward President Trump? No. Their bottom line dictates that they at least adapt and try to find some common ground to plow together. It appears that working in concert together across the aisle is not possible at this time. The lunatics are running the asylum on the left and they seem unwilling to try and reach any rapprochement with this administration beginning day one.

Plainly said, perhaps we need a divorce. If the Democrat Party wants to die on the hill of transgender issues, mutilating gender re-assignment surgery for children, abortion up until birth, men in women’s sports and bathrooms, everyone’s a racist and a Nazi — then keep it up, and expect to lose even more of your highly coveted power.

Americans value patriotism, peace, opportunity, common sense and government that serves we the people. Should you decide you want the same, then perhaps one day we can have a rational conversation.
