HACCP Training  

Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce for a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, or HACCP, Training for Meat Processors and Food and Beverage Manufacturers in the Flathead on May 7. The all-day training takes place at Montana West Economic Development, 44 2nd Ave. W., Kalispell. This class explains the requirements of the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation of the Food Safety Modernization Act and the benefits of updating an HACCP Plan. A ribbon cutting ceremony for Park Provisions in Coram takes place on May 7 at 4 p.m., located at 10126 U.S. 2, Coram. Park Provisions features fresh grab and go market, a dine-in lunch menu and a camp and picnic store.

Whitefish Chamber of Commerce’s Business Buzz will take place at Stumptown Art Studio on May 8, starting at 8:30 a.m., located at 145 Central Ave. in Whitefish. The monthly networking event gives chamber members the opportunity to catch up with staff and other local businesses.

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce's monthly networking event, the Sundowner, is at Flathead 4H & Loon Lake Camp on May 8, starting at 5 p.m. The camp is located at 29906 Loon Lake Road in Bigfork.
