A woman called the Kalispell Police Department, reportedly concerned about the fate of ducklings that fell into a storm drain at the location where she worked, saying Fish and Game advised her that they couldn’t help. She was able to “net out” most of the ducklings and cover nearby drains.

An employee allegedly refused to go to his workplace because management was going to fire him, and he became aggressive toward employees, harassing them through phone calls and text messages while threatening to fight them. An officer left a message for the man, warning him about privacy in communications offenses and that he was no longer welcome at the location. Employees were also told to call 911 if he showed up at the property.

A resident frustrated with speeders in the area allegedly pleaded with police for an increased law enforcement presence to rein in the “complete lawlessness.”

A resident was suspicious of a silver Toyota Sequoia reportedly containing mattresses and bags that was parked behind her house. An officer contacted the vehicle owner, letting her know that her vehicle was on private property and would be towed if it wasn’t moved.

A man was upset that a hotel employee allegedly gave his ex a key to his room, and she stole “his dogs.” The woman was not in the room when officers arrived. They spoke with the general manager, who said they didn’t want the man to stay at the hotel. Another officer reportedly told the woman she needed to go through the civil process to get the dogs, but also said they could not stop her from going to the hotel and advised against it. The man said he would “take matters into his own hands.”

A woman called police for assistance when she reportedly was getting calls from an unknown number every two to three minutes, and the phone company said it couldn’t help her without having a phone number.

A man sitting on a bench between a parking lot and a museum was reportedly yelling at himself, and an employee wanted him moved along.
