The Glacier High School Wolfpack Theatre Company invites all to escape to a world of whimsy, curiosity and imagination in “Alice in Wonderland.”

In this delightful one-hour adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic story, Alice begins her adventure chasing a curious White Rabbit down a hole and finds herself in the magical world of Wonderland. What follows is a whirlwind journey through a topsy-turvy world unlike any she’s known. As she searches for a way home — and for the Queen of Hearts’ stolen tarts — Alice encounters a series of unforgettable characters, including the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the tea-loving Mad Hatter, the quirky Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and the Mock Turtle.

This adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland,” is known for its playful spirit and concise storytelling. The script captures the essence of Carroll’s beloved characters while streamlining the story to keep younger viewers engaged and entertained, according to a Glacier High School press release.

‘“Alice in Wonderland” is a reflection of childhood and what life is like when you grow older. It combines the symbols of real life while creating a magical fantasy land, representing the creativity of kids and how they portray the world around them,” student director Kaylin Stein said. “... my intent was to inspire younger audience members, because when I first watched ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at Glacier High School, I was about 9 years old. It inspired me to pursue theatre in life, and I want to bring that same experience and inspiration to children in the audience."

Imagining Wonderland on stage stirred up plenty of creative ideas from Glacier's Advanced Acting class, which is putting on the production. Through the class, students get to select, cast, design and produce a full-length play.

“As a class, we picked this show because of how creative we could get via set design, lighting design, costume design, and especially the music of Wonderland,” Stein said.

The cast stars Abigail Haley as Alice, Megan Mikelson, Faith Fernandez, Noel Cantrell, Grace Miller, Zach Nases, Tregan Blades, Brett Pilon, Zaden Stout, Ayden Mintz, Isabelle McKoy, Eli Sanderson Strutz, Ethan Lopez, Parker Scherer, Theron Wilton, Chloe Franklin, Thomas Alexander, Gabe Luehr, Titus Bertelsen, K. Perigen, Titus Bertelsen, Gabe Luehr and Ethan Lopez.
