Law roundup: Naked man spotted in the wilds of Kalispell
A passerby reportedly spotted a naked man in the area, who was lying on the ground at the time. Officers with the Kalispell Police Department alerted the jail.
A man alleged that he was being threatened by a tall guy in a white tank top hanging out in the alley pretending to be an auto mechanic. The would-be assailant said he planned to inflict pain using a wrench.
Officers reportedly had to counsel a woman’s intoxicated, and immature, ex on “being an adult” and being respectful of people’s property while she was away. He allegedly blocked her vehicle in with his four-wheeler and kept following her around the residence when she wanted to leave. She told officers she had given him a 30-day notice to move out, but the “drama was overwhelming.”
A store employee wanted officers to advise a man that he had a lifetime ban because he was allegedly buying alcohol for minors.
An angry employee allegedly went to a location five times in one day and trapped someone in the office, where she threw a chair and screamed at them. Officers advised the woman that she would be considered trespassing if she went on the property and told her not to contact the individual, whom they provided an “advocate packet” and talked about applying for a restraining order.
A remorseful vandal allegedly sent a social media message to a woman admitting to slashing her tires.
A busybody thought a man in his 70s was acting suspiciously and called police when he reportedly approached two different families with children in a store parking lot and asked them questions. An officer advised him about the call and asked if he needed help. He reportedly said he just liked walking around, due to a medical condition, and was waiting for his wife to come out of the store.
A silver Ford Ranger reportedly kept going into oncoming traffic and driving erratically.
Officers checked on the welfare of a barefoot and shirtless man who looked like he was barely able to walk. He reportedly told officers he didn’t want any assistance.
