After getting into an argument with two men they suspected of being homeless, a college employee asked the Kalispell Police Department to intervene. Upon further investigation, though, the men turned out to be playing a round of disc golf on what they thought was a public park. Officers informed the employee that the area was open to public use, if not officially a public park, and told the golfers they were welcome to continue playing — if they agreed to stop swearing at college staff.

Officers were tasked with tracking down a brown and white husky mix reportedly running around downtown Kalispell.

A woman told the police she had found her stolen silver 1999 Honda Accord.

The driver of a white Dodge Ram suffering from a mean case of road rage allegedly pulled a gun on another motorist. The victim told the police they weren't interested in pressing charges, they just wanted the offending motorist counseled on gun safety. About the same time, dispatchers got a call from the allegedly gun-wielding motorist. He accused the other driver of trying to run him off the road.

Authorities unsuccessfully attempted to track down a blonde-haired man in his late 30s who was allegedly yelling at customers at several businesses.

Two men found chilling in an alleyway were counseled on their choice of hangout spots and shepherded along.

The victim of fraud told officers that the perpetrator had now begun threatening her.

Officers told a man living out of his car to hit the road at the behest of a passerby who said the green Subaru Outback had been in a parking garage for several days.

Someone called the authorities with questions about a chicken permit.

After a clingy ex-boyfriend showed up at her house again, this time drunk, a woman gave him a ride home and then asked the police to ban him from her property for three months.

Annoyed at finding a parked truck blocking access to her mailbox, a woman called the authorities. After following up, investigators learned that the vehicle was a food truck and there at the request of the apartment complex's management team. They told officers that they would find a new spot for the mobile eatery in the future.

Officers headed to a medical center after the staff there reported treating a possible gunshot victim.

After citing a motorist during a traffic stop, they reminded her that she needed to take care of a warrant.

Seeing a person "crawling around a pickup camper" a resident decided they needed to contact the authorities. They told dispatchers the whole thing looked "fishy" but couldn't explain why it seemed suspicious.

A man allegedly punched a woman after two dogs got into a fight.
