Arrowsmith propels A Lakers to win
Miles Arrowsmith went 3-for-4 and drove in all four runs as the Kalispell A Lakers won their second game in the Canadian Days Tournament 8-2 over the CBA Archers at Archie Roe Field Saturday.
After the Archers took a 2-1 lead in the third, the Lakers (5-7-1) tied the game on an error before Arrowsmith singled home a run to take a 3-2 lead. He added a 2-run single in the fourth inning to open up the game 6-2.
George Schwan earned the win for the Lakers (5-7-1), allowing just three hits and one earned run across six strong innings. Cole Perin started opposite Schwan, giving up six hits and six earned runs: two of them on wild pitches. The Lakers played a clean game and capitalized on three Archers errors.
Wyatt Sharp collected two hits for Kalispell, with Beau McEwen collecting the other. Falon Clark scored two runs and stole two bases.
Benjamin Van Ham collected the only RBI for the Archers, a fielder’s choice in the third inning. Brandon Corbeil, Jayden Jensen and Noah Zieman each added a hit.
