Arrowsmith, A Lakers down Loggers, 10-2

LIBBY — Miles Arrowsmith threw a seven-inning complete game, Liam Rech doubled and drove in two runs and the Kalispell A Lakers beat Libby 10-2 in Legion baseball Wednesday.

Arrowsmith allowed five hits, two walks and two unearned runs for the Lakers. He fanned 10 Loggers. Beau Schulz, Tait Orme and Rech all had two hits; Schutlz and Max Schara scored two runs and Orme scored three. 

Bransen Holzer had two hits for Libby (2-11), and Boe Miles hit a double. Each scored once; Brody Gilmore had the Loggers’ lone RBI, with a fourth-inning single.  

Miles and three relievers teamed up to allow eight hits and seven walks while hitting five Lakers with pitches. Kalispell (6-7-1) went up 2-0 in the first inning with a bases loaded walk and then a hit batter; an Orme single and Rech’s double made it 5-0 in the second.
