Law roundup: Man needs to dial his tone down
Dispatch received a 911 hangup. On the callback, a man answered by yelling, “Is this you?” followed by a string of expletives. When the dispatcher told him it was 911 calling, he said someone took his phone, but he was fine and hung up.
A front desk employee allegedly walked past a room where a fight happened and saw blood on the floor through the open door while a group of people started gathering in the hallway. The employee told the Kalispell Police Department the occupants of the room included a man and woman and three “kids" and it was unknown who was bleeding. They also didn’t know if anyone had weapons. Responding officers asked an individual to come out with their hands up at the front door. One reportedly uncooperative person claimed the individual the authorities were seeking was not there.
A woman doing pizza deliveries was reportedly rattled by a note written on a napkin she found wrapped around her door handle. A phone number was written on it along with the words, “Write to me.” She called the police, scared to go back outside. She was concerned someone was trying to lure her out, as an unknown man had been causing issues.
A large group of people in cars and pickups allegedly formed “in the usual spot” of a store parking lot and were driving recklessly.
Officers spoke with the occupants of two vehicles, advising them of park rules and moving them along.
Officers secured someone’s vehicle while they were taken to the hospital to have their blood drawn for allegedly driving under the influence.
Two noisy white trucks and one black truck allegedly drove on a curb and around a parking lot where a gas station used to be located. The white truck drove off, but the black truck stayed behind and the occupants were reportedly throwing trash all over the place. They were moved along.
