A woman called the Whitefish Police Department, concerned about a neighbor who had reportedly been "calling them in" for unnecessary reasons, because she was scheduling a house sitter and thought they would harass them too. Officers advised her about city ordinances related to dogs, noise and light pollution. Officers said they would forward the information to the sitter, advising her to have them call if an issue arose.

An employee with Adult Protective Services reportedly requested a welfare check on a woman who feared for her life and said her daughter pushed her down, stepped on her neck and took her wallet and money.

Officers providing extra patrol on Central Avenue allegedly found multiple backpacks, blankets, books, a tarp and a medication bottle with a name on it in an alley and planned to try and make contact with the person to have them move the belongings.

Officers stopped a vehicle and issued a warning for reportedly pulling out in front of them.

Two people were given speeding tickets.

A restaurant allegedly wanted officers to remove a man from the property and give him a ticket for trespassing. He was also reportedly banned from a coffee shop.

Someone reportedly heard a gunshot they said came from a long gun. Officers spoke with several pedestrians in the area and no one said they had heard anything.
