Glacier boys 6 strokes off pace at State AA
BUTTE — After 18 holes at the State AA golf tournament, the Glacier boys find themselves looking up not just at Missoula Sentinel but also Helena Capital.
With Jack Schaefer among three boys shooting 2-over-par 72, the Sentinel Spartans ended Thursday with 303 strokes at the Butte Country Club. In second is Capital at 306; the Bruins’ John Gilbert also shot 72 Thursday, as did Great Falls Russell’s Jack Pinski.
