A football: Whitefish, C-Falls win big
POLSON — Cole Moses had a night, rushing for 121 yards and three touchdowns as the Whitefish Bulldogs downed Polson 41-6 in Northwest A football Friday.
Moses averaged more than 10 yards per carry as the Bulldogs ran for 308 yards as a team.
Luke Dalen finished 13 of 22 passing with 168 yards and two touchdowns to go with one interception. He also ran for 91 yards on seven carries.
Moses opened the scoring with a 69-yard scamper, before adding touchdowns from 1 and 5 yards out.

RONAN — Banyan Johnston was perfect, so was Kyler Voermans, and their four combined touchdown passes were one highlight of Columbia Falls’ Northwest A win Friday.
Johnston was 3-for-3 passing for three touchdowns and Voermans’ only throw was a throw-back pass to Johnston that went 58 yards for a touchdown for the Wildcats (2-3, 2-0 in the Northwest A).
Johnston also had TD passes covering 40 and 52 yards to Gabe Plevel and 66 yards to Easton Brooks. Columbia Falls piled up 373 yards of offense on 22 plays. Ronan (0-6, 0-2 in league) ran 23 plays, gaining 39 yards.
Voermans also had four carries for 56 yards for the Cats; Connor Davis picked up 45 yards on five carries and Trip Ross had 41 yards on five totes.
