Flathead Electric Cooperative performing tree work near West Glacier

Flathead Electric Cooperative will perform tree trimming and other vegetation management work on U.S. 2, Mile Markers 154-174, between West Glacier and Pinnacle during much of October.

Work will take occur from Oct. 6 to Oct. 20. Flagging will occur intermittently Monday to Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will, from time to time, require a one-lane closure of U.S. 2. Traffic control measures will be in place when crews are present.

These closures support Flathead Electric’s ongoing work to modernize and strengthen the electric grid and mitigate the risk of wildfires.
