Someone allegedly saw an older woman wearing glasses and black clothing, walking around with a rifle equipped with a silencer on the top of the hill on North Meridian Road. She reportedly looked at a mailbox, walked behind a store and went into a car repair shop. Officers spoke with people in the area who did not see a woman matching her description, nor did officers.

A man allegedly kept coming around a woman’s residence, knocking on her door and harassing her, saying, “God wants her to be with him,” despite being told not to bother her by her father and fiancé.

A man on a bicycle allegedly screamed at a woman who started running so fast that someone who saw her while taking a smoke break outside a hotel thought she peed her pants from fright and called the police, concerned about her safety.

Two people in sleeping bags were reportedly sleeping in the front entrance of a vacant building and the property owner wanted them moved along.

Purported shoplifters allegedly returned to the scene and an employee wanted them kicked off the property. They were moved along.

Officers attempted to call a man and advised him that he would be served a stalking notice if he continued to break a no-contact order via voicemail. He was served the stalking notice after his behavior escalated to the point of fear and harassment.

A woman alleged a man she believed worked at a hardware store was going to steal from them and had warrants out of Lincoln County. While she didn’t know which store location he was employed at, she believed he was in Kalispell.

A woman reportedly screamed about her son being disrespectful and that he needed to get out of the house while his children were home. Then, he got on the phone, alleging that his mother would try to kick him out every day and that he paid rent. The argument reportedly started over his car not starting. Parties involved came to a peaceful resolution, per police.

Someone broke into a vehicle and stole a gun.

A woman called to ask an officer for assistance, saying she was lost regarding housing concerns. Officers attempted to contact someone she said was helping her and left a message to contact the Crisis Assistance Team. She didn’t want to surrender her cat in order to get housing at a shelter and decided to return to Whitefish to get a little help from her friends and would reach out if she needed additional assistance from the Crisis Assistance Team.
