Officers followed up on a resident’s complaint about a rooster crowing at the neighbor’s after previously warning him about keeping roosters on city property. The neighbor allegedly said he killed the rooster that had been crowing and this week, killed three more roosters. Today, after another rooster crowed, it too had been killed. He said he raises chicks but doesn’t know when a rooster is in the mix.

Someone reportedly watched a reckless driver in a green vehicle “spin its wheels against another vehicle's bumper” that it had been tailgating, heading northbound on U.S. 93 before turning into the parking lot of a big box store. The reckless driver was described as having long black hair and wearing a backward baseball cap and was with a male passenger.

Someone’s coworker, who wasn’t on duty, reportedly refused to leave the property and stayed put on a couch in the living room. When they tried to get her to speak to her manager on the phone, she refused, throwing the phone instead. They asked officers to assist in her removal. The jail was advised she would arrive “in a wrap.”

Someone allegedly received several reports about a woman who waited for people to get out of their vehicles to ask for money and requested extra patrol, assuming she would move on to breaking into vehicles.

Two pit bulls that were reportedly aggressive toward people were spotted running into the road in front of traffic. Officers were en route to corral the dogs with catch poles when the owners showed up.

Someone was suspicious of “kids” who reportedly lit firecrackers on private property along with two vehicles, a dark colored Jeep and a dark colored pickup with an American flag. The two males left and allegedly “concealed” to the caller that they had been on private property.

A woman reported fraud to police after allegedly paying $1,000 to someone who called her and told her she needed to have an ankle monitor put on.

A white Jeep allegedly swerved in and out of a lane at speeds of 10 to 15 mph.
